KARTAL GOKTAN:  

The Prime Minister BinaliYildirim made a press statement saying; "This is an attempt by a faction within the army." The Turkish National Police declared that all the leaves of absence have been revoked, and summoned all the police officers to duty. 

ADNAN OKTAR: Almighty God says, "Sedition is worse than killing." People should refrain from seditious deeds. Legitimate democratic government is the rightful government. Resorting to military coup is a mistake. It should not be attempted. We are a country that is at the center of the Turkish-Islamic Union. There is no place for a disorder among our midst. We act in a spirit of unity, solidarity and brotherhood. We constitute a whole with our military, our people and our policemen. We will never allow separation, division or disorder. We are a rational, level-headed community. And we display this in the best way through our Muslim identity, our attitude that is in accordance with the moral values of Islam, our traditions, and our customs. May God protect our homeland and nation from sedition and disorder; may He obviate any seditious attempts. Almighty God says, "Sedition is worse than killing."

KARTAL GOKTAN: Mr. Oktar, BinaliYildirim stated; "All of our security forces will retaliate to these soldiers in kind. Those who attempted the coup will pay the heaviest price." 

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course, in such events, it would be best to adopt a merciful approach when the dust settles. Moderation is very important. I hope peace and tranquility will return to our country in no time, insha'Allah. And then compassion will ensue. 

BÜLENT SEZGİN: Mr. Bahçeli [The head of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP)] has called the Prime minister; "This attempt is unacceptable".

ADNAN OKTAR: Bahçeli is an experienced, sensible, wise person well-versed in governmental matters. Of course, the government rightfully came to power through the votes of the people. So, undoubtedly he will defend the legitimate government. Why would he take a stand against the legitimate government?

BÜLENT SEZGİN: There have been some developments; "The Prime Minister was banned from making statements to the media. The Prime Ministry has been captured." 

KARTAL GOKTAN: Almost 200 soldiers have broken into the AKP Istanbul Provincial Headquarters. They are reporting it live as officials are trying to recapture the building.

ADNAN OKTAR: Unfortunately such incidents occur all around the world. May God obviate such seditious attempts. May Almighty God quell this disorder. I hope temperance and moderation will be achieved once again. I hope the course of events will return to as it should be. God has control over everything. Nothing is out of God's knowledge. Nothing happens without God's will. May God forbid, we never want any harm to come to neither our police nor our soldiers. Everyone should strive in solidarity to quell this sedition in the best, the most rational way. People should show temperance, self-restraint and reason. We wish the best from God. Almighty God always creates what is best and most beautiful. Destiny is never mistaken; it is never at fault. God says in the Quran, I seek refuge in God from satan, "The legions of heaven and earth belong to God", to Almighty God. As I have said before, great incidents will occur. I have just told you yesterday, and the day before. All these incidents are related to the End of Times. 

BÜLENT SEZGİN: You have said that these incidents will continue to occur increasingly. 

ADNAN OKTAR: Indeed. These are the anticipated signs of the End of Times, insha'Allah. May God watch over our soldiers, our police, and our state. May God never let anyone be faced with difficult situations, neither in TRT [Turkish radio and television association] nor anywhere else. May God grant everyone peaceful lives. We should always wish for the best. If Almighty God wishes something, it comes true. Our people should not worry. There will come nothing but goodness out of this. However, no one can stand against the system of Mahdi. What is right and true will certainly come to pass. And what is wrong may perish insha'Allah. May Almighty God grant our soldiers and our police health and welfare. May He grant our government health and welfare, goodness and wellbeing; may He protect them from sedition. In short, no one should deviate from the democratic path. Everything should be taken into consideration on a democratic ground. Also, compassion should be practiced. Because Turkey is the last great bastion of both the Turkic and the Islamic world. People should be adamant on unity and consider such events in a friendly and brotherly manner.

BÜLENT SEZGİN: The leader of CHP [Republican People's Party] stated; "We are protecting our democracy."

ADNAN OKTAR: Nice, he made an accurate statement. Because, in such situations, the statements of the party leaders are crucial, significant. Democracy is a must; it is vital. And we regard our soldiers highly, we hold them dear. They are united in solidarity.
